  • Conducted statewide focus groups on modifiable risk factors for obesity in African American women for the Missouri Division of Health and Senior Services. (1999-2000)
  • Designed and evaluated the impact of an influenza immunization intervention that focused on Black seniors for the Missouri Patient Review Organization.(2001 to 2003)
  • Planned and managed a six county community health assessment and survey of 48 Black communities in Southeast Missouri under a grant from the Missouri Foundation for Health. (2003 to 2005)
  • Conducted a statewide stakeholder assessment in Virginia that focused on preventing colorectal cancer, and collected data from community based health centers that led to the creation of a cancer education and screening directory. (2004 to 2007)
  • Designed and implemented two HIV/STI risk reduction interventions (P.E.A.R.L.S.™ and J.E.W.E.L.S.™) that focus on Black and Latina girls and young women aged 9 to 24. More than 2000 participants. (2004 to 2012)
  • Served as the evaluation and program development consultatnt for the Student National Medical Association−SNMA. (2006 to 2008)
  • Conducted a comprehensive assessment of the health care access needs in North St. Louis under the auspices of the St. Louis African American Aldermanic Caucus and BJC Health Care. (2008-2009)
  • Program Evaluation activities for the Indian Health Services National Health Promotion-Disease Prevention program that serves more than 50,000 beneficiaries. (2008 to 2010)
  • Program planning, evaluation, technical assistance and support for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office on Women’s Health for violence risk reduction interventions. (2008 to 2012)
  • Guidance and direction to the Healthy North St. Louis Collaborative through the African American Aldermanic Foundation (3A) in developing a community health strategic plan. (2010-2011)
  • Program Evaluation and Technical Training for the Mid-Atlantic American Friends Service Committee. (2010–2011)
  • Planned and developed the City of St. Louis Health Department's City Wide Health Assessments and Community Health Improvement Plan for Public Health Accreditation & Youth Violence Prevention (2011-2012)
  • Planned and coordinated the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services' State Health Assessment and Elements of the State Health Improvement Plan. (2013)
  • Planning and developing Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) concepts and products to improve health and social outcomes in under-resourced communities. (2014-2020)
  • ​REESSI is funded by the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to build a collaborative in the Northern Neck region of Virginia to mitigate the burden of disability and mortality faced by African Americans with multiple chronic conditions. January 2018-December 31, 2019.
